You're driving on the highway on the way to San Diego, and you're already pretty behind schedule because of some reason that doesn't matter anymore but was definitely not your fault. The tiny semblance of the plan that you kind of sort of have is to get to the hostel before dark. But then rolling piles of sand just kind of appear out of nowhere and you are left with no choice but to pull over, spin a few doughnuts and climb until the sun sets magnificently around you.

I didn't notice it until just now, but this photo was taken in almost the exact same spot as the one above. See how magical it was to watch this happen? The sun just set all around us and it was crazy.
